Hi, my father is 67 years old and he is suffering from arrhythmias for a long time. Last time when he went to his doctor he suggested him to change his therapy and start taking new medication flecinide. Also doctor told him that other solution would be pacemaker and that he hopes this medication would give good results. I would like to know something more about it.

Hi, my mother is taking same medication and she feels very good. This medication is very good antiarrhythmic and I think it would improve condition of your father. This drug wouldn't be used by patients who had problems with left ventricular dysfunction and patients who have problem with coronary artery. Also this medication may cause arrhythmia as side effect but it is very rare.
