thanksgiving turkey? you better not eat it if it's been somewhere for months already.

just to simplify things, a pregnant woman should eat lots of fruits and vegetables. you're supporting two lives. you need to get proper nutrition for optimal health for you and your baby.

eat 7 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables per day. and eat a variety, not just 2 or 3 kinds. you need a colorful diet.

fruits and vegetables are rich in phytonutrients -- essential vitamins, minerals...antioxidants -- as well as fiber and even water.

you might need to eat relatively less sweet or starchy fruits & veggies just to avoid gestational diabetes (or temporary high-level of blood sugar during pregnancy). consult your OB-GYN.

drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day.

i hope you'll have a healthy normal pregnancy.
