Hi,
I'm 16 (nearly 17) and i cannot retract my foreskin past my glans at all, when flaccid or erect. Is this a problem?

You need to stretch it sideways, thumb and forefinger on each side. Pull hard enough that you can feel the tension, but not hard enough to hurt. When there is pain, you are creating tiny tears in the skin. Even if they don't become infected they will create scar tissue, which is counterproductive. Vitamin E increases elasticity of the skin either orally or topically. Stretch every day. You can go to sleep doing it, again when you wake up if you don't have to get up immediately, and every time you go to the bathroom. It should retract before your age. Cleanliness may become a problem, and sex may or may not be, but the odds are better if it willl retract. The sliding back and forth af foreskin over glans is one of the greatest pleasures intact men can have.

It is a problem only if you consider it to be a problem. Men can live all of their lives, masturbate, have sex, and father children with a foreskin that does not retract.

On the other hand, if you want it to retract then you may start to stretch your foreskin to make it retractable.

Some guys have foreskins that have tips that are too narrow to pass back over the penis head. These foreskins may be gently stretched over a period of time to cause them to widen. When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction.

It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and let mitosis do its work.
