Hi. I’m 23 years old and I have small problem but it bothers me a lot.
Recently during sex with my girlfriend I’ve noticed a small amount of blood on and my penis.
I become very frightened because I didn’t know what could cause this bleeding.
Later I’ve noticed that my blood comes from a little cut on my forskin. The scar is really little but it gives my a lot of problems because, since then, every sex is accompanied with blood and feeling of discomfort. I’m desperate!
I even tried to avoid sex for some time but it didn’t help-symptoms are same. What should I do?

I think that you and your girlfriend are making a fuss from nothing at all. You should be aware that sex sometimes has its own side effects and possible injuries. You experienced one that is most common.
You probably injured a praeputium, small area of skin that connects your glans with your forskin.
This is not a serious disease. Only problem is that forskin injury often takes much time to heal. It is constantly reinjured, not only during sex, but in everyday activities.
Only permanent solution is operation. Doctor will make a few stitches and you will be as new. So, don’t waste your nor your girlfriend time-run to your GP!

My boyfriend finds the same thing happening sometimes.
The first time we were really scared, but after seeing a specialist he was told it was just a tear, and to apply polysporin to help the healing process.
We were also told that this is common in men who are uncircumcised, and that lubricants should be used.
