HI I HAVE GERD BUT IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE OTHER PROBLEMS TOO..SOMETIMES I HAVE DIFFICULTY TAKING A DEEP AND RELIEVING BREATH..FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS BLOCKING, ..IS IT NORMAL OR DO I NEED SOME ATTENTION..I DID A CHEST X-RAY AND THE REPORT WAS NORMAL.

Well, if you had X-ray which was normal then I presume that you are just worried that something else can go wrong. Usually when we develop certain condition we are afraid that some additional complications will occur sooner or later. I sincerely hope that this is not going to be your case and that you will manage GERD the best you can.
If you continue to feel discomfort when you try to take deep breath, go and see your doctor again. You will be visiting him anyway so ask about this problem when you are there.
