I have been having pain all over my body for quite some time now. It started out as a very localized sharp pain on my right side, just under my right rib. I had CT Scan, US and the both showed nothing. Went to the GI for a work-up and I'm scheduled for an endospcopy this month. However my pain has changed in the last few months. I have had some more recognizable stomach pain, although I have NEVER been convinced that it was an ulcer, although I think the constant worrying may be giving me one now. But the pain is now on the left and the right, my back hurts all the time and burns at times. My left knee has gotten so painful that I often can't get up off the floor after sitting down. I also have pain in the right knee. The backs of my calves ache at times too. I've also had some dicomfort in both my arms, although that seems the least of the problems. And I've noticed a very slight twitch in my hands and legs at night while sitting quietly watching tv. It's not often but I do notice it.
I'm discouraged that no one has an answer for me as it's ruining my life. There are days that I just can brely make it through the day.
If anyone has any thoughts I would be so happy to hear them!!!!

Hi:
I'm sorry to hear about all of your pain...It sounds like you are very frustrated. Here are some thoughts: Have you been checked for any central nervous system (CNS) disorders like Multiple Sclerosis. Are there any incidences of a CNS disease in your family? Would your previous testing have detected this type of disease? Have you been checked for any autoimmune diseases, i.e. lupus, etc.: Have you considered a pinched nerve? See appropriate specialists for these issues. Specialists, i.e. and endocrinologist, will have a great deal of experience with symptoms of these diseases. Document your symptoms and the time frame so that you can effectively inform the doctor. Try these ideas and let us know. I will be praying that you get some answers and some relief very soon.
