I too have had a knot on my clavicle for over 9 years the size of a walnut, hard as a rock and part of the bone. It shows if you look hard enough. It makes me nervous. Kaiser did an MRI in 2008 and said it was not cancer. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia back in the 90s about your age. I now discovered that I have degenerative arthritis. I am now 63 years old. I believe that I didn't have Fibromyalgia but the arthritis instead. You know, Fibromyalgia is diagnosed by way of alleviation, they really just put a name on pain. It kind of is BS but serious pain all over. They checked for rheumatoid arthritis and said I didn't have that so I must have Fibromyalgia. But are you on Statin drugs? I found that my Fibromyalgia went away in about 3 days when I quit the Statins and I had suffered on those statins for 7 long years. So get off those immediately if you are on them and see if the pain goes away. Now I take Rapatha, an new injection twice a month and it is for high cholesterol. Much better. But to get back to the lump. I just had a neck MRI last month and nothing was said about it. But my arthritis is making my joints large and I did break a collarbone when I was a baby so thinking it is from that injury. Bad lower multi disc degeneration also. It sounds like with your knees and Fibromyalgia, you may have serious degenerative arthritis instead. I am not a doctor but your symptoms are almost identical to mine. Give me an update when you find out what you have. Good luck!

Hello Gene,
I have the same type of lump and symptoms. I will seeing an ENT soon. My physiotherapist thinks I should be referred to a Thoracic Surgeon also. He thinks possibly TOS.
Has been going on for a long time and affecting my shoulder movement.
Would you please share what your outcome, diagnosis was?
Kind Regards, Carol

I have the same thing, a lump that feels like a hard bone that is on my right side, sometimes when do a lot of work with my arm it flares up and gets bigger,
I believe mine started when I started going with my husband to the shooting range with a rifle on my shoulder , a few weeks later that's when I noticed it .
I went to the doctor also worrying it being a lump it could be cancer , they did x-rays and a cats-scan and I was told it was osteoarthritis.
I went to a rheumatologist after that, and he said he believed that the last doctor was correct it was osteoarthritis and there's nothing they can do for that type of arthritis is comes with age.
Lately I have noticed that my arm is feeling weaker and harder to lift up with a little bit of shoulder pain
I'm am 50 years old

I have a large end of my clavicle by my sternum which is a displaced clavicle after falling on my other shoulder. It hurts the opposite shoulder, up my neck on that side and the trapezius muscle. My Dr (DO) manipulated the clavicle which made it better. It should be good with further manipulations. Hope this helps!

Hi, I'm eighteen years old and just found ine of these hard/round bone like things on ny collarbone as well. Not sure why it's there, but I do get shoulder pain in both shoulders, shoulder blades, and my neck. I haven't seen a doctor yet but wanted to chime in and have it be known that even a young person has this issue too. Not sure if I fractured something and it healed funny or if it's more serious.,,,,

I have the same problem and a lot of pain that goes with it. Doctors did nothing but give me meds. My chiropractor has determined the clavicle is separated and working to move it back into place.

Just got a little too tired- and I have the same symptoms all of a sudden--- I have Fibromyalgia, and today I had three shots in arms- so i hope it is weather change and body's reaction to shots and stress from our dog's looming Vet bill. Dr. just checked me out a couple of months ago
