I am about 25 pounds overweight mainly in my stomach. It seems that for some reason, most of it is in the upper stomach right below my sternum. That area is a lot bigger and harder than the rest. I do drink a lot of soda though. Is this just simply fat or reason for concern? And tips on getting rid of this diet, workout, etc? Thank you.

Well, it is not possible to spot reduce fat in just one part of your body, like your stomach. In order to lose stomach fat you will need to lose the fat all over your body. Though, I read somewhere that by knowing the foods that contribute towards our bodies storing fat we can then control our intake of them to make sure no fat is made in the first place. It says something about foods that contain estrogen compounds. This compound is found naturally in some foods however many manufacturers also add it to their products to keep shelf life or make the product look more appealing than it really is. Apparently, we need to control the amount of estrogen compound that our body is consuming, and that helps in losing upper stomach. S we need to control what we eat, not how much we eat. And soda won't help you either.
