As in the Subject line, I've been trying to deal with this pain for over a month. I thought it was stress, but massage makes it worse. I can't think clearly, or keep a straight line of thought. Aspirin doesn't help. It hurts when I breath sometimes a sharp stabbing pain in my lung. The only thing that helps is to hold my arm behind my back for a minute, seems to relieve it for a few minutes. I'm not using my left arm much now. Physical activity makes it worse, and sometimes I hurt all over. I have dealt with fibromyalgia for ten years, and this isn't that kind of pain.

If you are experiencing pain that intense, you should see a doctor as soon as possible! IT seems to me that whatever this pain is--and I don't really care to speculate as it could be anything from a muscle tear to a lymph node gone wrong--it is causing you a great deal of discomfort and could be indicative of a more serious problem. I hope that it isn't and chances are that it won't be, but you need a professional opinion to confirm that. PLease see your doctor as soon as possible. And keep us posted!
