So i've been under a lot of stress the past couple month and here lately it's been almost too mcuh to deal with. Anyways, one day last week my left side of my face and lips went numb it a tingling feeling for the better part of one night. it went away though so my worries ceased. well yesterday I got a different symptom...i had a sharp pain under my chin that radiated down the front of my neck. it didn't go down to my chest, just pretty much stopped at the bottom of my neck. it would hurt for roughly 5-10 mins periodically through the day but stopped. well tonight the neck pain started again but seems to have subsided now. I'm not experiencing any chest pain or anything....does it sound just like stress? anyone have anything similar happen to them???

Well, it does sound like anxiety induced by stress to me. Important signs of anxiety that most people can’t relate to it are enhanced sensing of normal, regular functions – like various sounds and also number of physical symptoms like muscle tensing (from vocal cords to stomach muscles, all of them could be affected), insomnia, irregular heartbeat…And these signs become stronger at night. So, this muscular tension could cause pain, but it’s also very likely that you could have strained one of the muscles around your neck and head, maybe when sleeping. All depends of how long it’s going to last. Try neck massage.

I get this periodically... it is DEFINITELY related to stress. The weird thing is that if I drink -it goes away immediately. Very weird. All of which leads me to believe that it's some sort of spasm in my neck/throat/....
