My great concern is how to control Huntington's symptoms. I am 45 years old. I am experiencing chorea, witch mean that I have trouble with walking, speaking and swallowing. Choking is the biggest problem. I even chose not to eat rather than to choke. Beside depression, I have no other emotional or cognitive problems. Has anybody successful managed to control these symptoms?

There are many ways to help you in order to control symptoms of Huntington's disease. You may use drug therapy, such as Prozac and Haloperidol. And you can do some exercises. You can start to learn how to speak, but slowly, how to swallow, also slowly and how to walk, with your therapist. If you have some people in your house you can try exercising with them. It can be fun.
