I was born with hemangioma's over top half of left side, when I was in late 20's was when they found in liver.
Has anyone found something to help them, I'm in my 60's and don't know if they will find only help for me.
I have a lot of the same symptom as some of the rest of you have, only I have loosed weight and gained weight at times. At times I just don't feel like eating or drinking very much, makes the pain worse.

You should talk to an interventional radiologist about treating them with RF ablation. I had my 7+ cm one treated by Fred Lee at U of Wisconsin in 2004. You can read an article about it as I was the first person to be treated with a new RF instrument. I'm sure the technique has advanced since then even though it was a total success for me already: eliminated pain and discomfort.

kathyf1003534,
I also have liver hemangiomas and the drs tell me the same that they usually don't cause symptoms but mine are like; lightheadedness, nausea, headaches, pain and pressure right upper quadrant, fluctuating bp from 101/79 to 128/83, itching, little cough, shortness of breath but it's all not constant but are in varying degrees throughout the day depending on what I'm doing or positional. There is not any resource out there that I have found that confirms these symptoms and it is very annoying to say the least to be told that hemangiomas don't do that. All the tests usually are done when laying down so the dynamics of it all are different in regards to what and where and how other organs, arteries and vessels, nerves, muscles and such are being affected by the hemangiomas. Did you have the surgery and if so I hope it helped. Please let me know. If you have any helpful information please let me know. Thank you and God Bless!

How are you doing after your embolization? My dr told me that I couldn't have that done for my 9cm one. Thank you and God Bless!
