Please keep us updated on your status. I'm going through the same thing but I'm unaware of this ablation process. Sending you strength.

Hello, I'm just curious about your statement of reducing stress on your hemongioma, do you believe running creates stress to your liver? I'm asking because i have a hemongioma and run about 18k per week.

was wondering if you ever had the hemangioma removed and if your symptoms got any better.

Seems like you need a new husband, I'm sorry he treats you like that clearly he doesn't deserve you. The stress he is causing you will not help you're medical issues.

MiniMom, I am male, 55, I have exactly the same symptom of getting a specific, pinpoint pain my upper back between last two ribs. Only, at times it moves to front, right side, under the last rib. It has gotten worse in the last three weeks. I had ultrasound in 2013 and was diagnosed with 2.5 cm by 2.7 cm lesion on liver, confirmed by CT scan. Doctors said not to worry. Four years down the timeline I am now getting exactly the kind of pains you say you get. Again going to the doctor.

I'm a female age 50. If you haven't had a CT scan since 2013 I suggest you get an updated one. Mine has grown to and est. 15cm by 17cm over my life span. I'm a petite person and needless to say it gives me problems. Your right, when they are small there is no need to address it but if its giving you problems it may be a good idea to have your doctor look into it. Sending blessing. TinaJo

Mine is 11cm in the caudate love and it hurts after I have eaten. Had my gallbladder removed last year and feel much better but the hemangioma is definitely causing pain

I also have pain after I have eaten. I have a good appetite but I'm very uncomfortable for about an hour after I eat.

Great thread!
I was diagnosed with two 2.5cm x 2cm hemangioma's a couple of months ago and appear to have many of the same symptoms mentioned on this thread.
What specific foods have people found to really make a difference?
Thanks!

My Doc gave me a sample of Duexis which is ibuprofen and Famotidine. I only take it as needed and it helps my back pain and digestive issues.

I have not been able to narrow down my digestive issues to a specific food. I have eliminated carbonated drinks which helps me. TinaJo

Thank you for your very detailed post and those cliffhanging writing skills!... so what happened???
I have a hemangioma that has been growing since 2006(it’s still small). Because I have a “complex” case, a new PCP is actually listening to me and I will have it surgically removed because it is somewhat flat and around the bend. Because my doctors believe there is an underlying infection, they are going to send it to pathobiology. Any recommendations? I have Lyme, bartonella, Babesia, Systemic yeast, etc. The tickborne infections were not CDC positive and the yeast was only diagnosed after My immune system improved from IVIG.
I would love to hear your recommendations on testing the biopsied hemangioma and what happened with your hemangioma And how are you feeling now?

I know you posted this a while ago but I have very similar symptoms so your story resonates with me.... so thank you for sharing!
To anyone reading these posts… We have to remember that we are consumers and the doctors are providing a service! if we don’t like their service it is our right to ask and if denied, even though it is a pain… We can go to another doctor.
At age 45, I have the best primary care I’ve ever had my life. After doing my own research and realizing the radiologist can’t really call it what he did, I was able to have a reasonable conversation with him and point out that there’s nothing else going on in my stomach and that I believe the hemanGioma may provide some answers to an unknown underlying infection. Even though I had to follow up on my request to have a liver biopsy, he respected it. Mine actually has to be surgically removed because it is in an odd spot. If the surgeon I see isn’t willing to do what I ask then I will find one who is. Be ur own best advocate!!!
