I have had symptoms for years. I suffered from a flare up from Nov 2015 until Feb 2016. I finally convinced a surgeon during this flare up to help me. He said he would remove the entire column on the left side which is the problem. I have been feeling much better and just got a call for surgery scheduled for this June 2016. Has anyone had a surgical removal of hemorrhoids when they weren't inflamed and painful? I'm worried that the surgeon will change his mind if they're not irritated when I go in for the procedure. I'm also worried I may change my mind because I'm feeling better. I don't want to back out as I know this problem will become a pain in the ass again and I can't go through anymore mental torture.
