An issue with your eyes:
In July of 2007, I started having some weird eye pain and it felt like my left eye was slow to move, 2 days after that my left eye issues were worse, I could look side to side and down, but when I attempted to look up my left eye wouldn't move. Went to the dr's who sent me to an opthomologist, it took a few weeks to get in and by the time I got there the problem had resolved itself so he siad I probably have "thyroid orbitoptahy" of course I came hoem and googled it but the symtoms didn't fit. I had the issue again in January of 2008 lasted just a short time that time. February 2009 again lasted just a few days...This time its been 8 days so far. Opthomologist will not see me for another 5.5 months, Dr cannot see anything and all my blood work came back fine. I am baffled...it hurts behind the eye (only my left) and sometimes still my eye feels slow to track and willnot look up when I want it to, IF I can get it to move it might start shaking or it might not....
I am wondering if anyone else has ever had this and were you diagnosed? if so with what? What was teh treatment? Did it return or has it stayed away?
If you were diagnosed what procedures did you go through to get it figured out.
Last night saw a tv and they were talking about "Tolosa hunt syndrome" most symptoms fit but not all. I am going to ask my dr about this but wondered if anyone else has had this? Thank you.

Hi:
This is disturbing and horrible for you. If your doctor can't see you for 5 months, you are seeing the wrong doctor. He/she is overloading with patients and therefore cannot be of service to you. Five months is a very long (too long) time to live with undiagnosed symptoms. There must be other doctors available to you. Find a specialist that is reputable with a great professional reputation. You might also consult with a neurologist. He /she specializes in the central nervous system. He could rule out nerve or vascular issues. Don't wait...find a new doctor and get answers and treatment. Good luck. Please let us know how things are going for you.
