I am 50 years all,& have never had any ear problems. This past summer I started to have this 'heatbeat' sound, or almost an 'ultra-sound' sound in my left ear. It usually starts early in the a.m., or at night , right before bed. I do hear it sometims during th day. I am getting worried that this my be serious, a tumor or cancer! I have scheduled a doctar's appt next week. RAVEN
