Hey all.

I have a problem with my penis and I'm not very well educated on the subject of penis related disease. Google got me thinking it could be an infection caused by candida albicans though.

My symptoms developed over the cause of 24-48 hours and it's day 5 having symptoms.

The symptoms I have noticed are the following:

* Skin peeling of the head and shaft (inside, uncircumcised) of the penis. Severe at the onset of symptoms.

* Red spots on the head of the penis. These are not swollen in any way, does not contain any liquid, are very small and a little sore.

* My scrotum has become a little red in colour and there is some flaky skin peeling. The skin appears to be very dry and the skin looks thin and weak. I suspect some inflamation.

* The affected skin is a little itchy but nothing too bad.

About 24 hours prior to the onset of symptoms, I had unprotected sex with my SO. I haven't been with anyone else so STDs is almost out of the question, but since this is a medicinal problem, it would be ignorant of me to completely ignore the chance of me getting a STD from her due to cheating.

We were going at it pretty hard and for a longer than average duration so there might have been too much friction but I didn't notice anything during or after. It should be noted that normally, after sex, I clean my penis with some water, just a few seconds under the showerhead but enough to make a significant difference you know. This time however, I did not. I went straight to bed and slept while being soiled in whatever sexy juices we produced at the moment. So I'm thinking that C.albicans would probably love something like that.

Or could this be something as simple as friction caused by sex? I've had similar symptoms before due to the act of having sex but never this bad or close to it, usually it goes away completely in a day or too. The scrotum thing also doesn't add up to the friction theory I think because how much friction could the scrotum really suffer due to some sweet doggy style action? Not that much I suppose, but I could be wrong. Never had a problem with that before though.

Okay people, go ahead and play doctor, I know it you like it so ;)
