Looking for help and advise. I so want to run. I started running last October since than I have had 3 stress fractures in my tibias. It seems like I get a fracture it heals, my doctor releases me to run and it happens all over again. I am 43 years old in pretty good shape. I stretch before and after every run. I wear asics cumulus 14 recommended by a local running shop. I am able to run 4 miles nonstop when I have no fracture or pain. I live in a area that has no running coaches (I have looked). My question is will this get better or should I hang it up? I am not sure what I am doing wrong if anything. Any help or advise you can offer would be great.
