We live in an old farmhouse and it is a dream for us! We bought the place last year and are still doing it up. One of the challenges that we are facing with our house is dampness. There has got to be a way to get rid of the dampness. Are there herbal solutions for this?

I used to run an ecological construction company, and know a lot about dampness, as it was the main problem people face in old houses. Good isolation is part of the answer, but also, contrary to what many people believe, ventilation. If there is no ventilation vent, then the dampness is bound to stay in your house. As for herbs, I am not sure what you mean but I doubts these are able to do much for dampness.
