I am having a HIDA scan this week, and was wondering if it will cause pain if my gallbladder is low functioning. Does the pain occur if your gallbladder empties or does not empty. Also, I have been taking pepto bismol and I've heard it affects the results. How will this affect the gallbladder and its ability to empty properly? thanks!
