This is common during pregnancy, and it is nothing to worry about. Cancer, is not the likely cause of an increase, but an infection could be the cause. A mild infection such as a urinary tract infection can lead to a higher wbc count. urinary tract infections are common in pregnant people, so if you are worried ask your doctor,they will know what is best. (However, like i stated right away, a elevated wbc is very common in pregnant women, and it is normal!!!!)
