Based on your description, it's possible that you experienced some trauma to the face from the water balloon incident. Numbness and swelling can be signs of nerve damage or an injury to the facial structures. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional to get a proper evaluation and diagnosis.

I recommend you schedule an appointment with a doctor, preferably a specialist such as an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist or a maxillofacial surgeon. They will be able to examine your face, assess the extent of the injury, and provide appropriate medical advice and treatment options. They may also recommend imaging tests or further evaluations to determine the cause of your symptoms.

It's generally better to seek medical attention sooner rather than later, especially if your symptoms have persisted for several days. Remember, a healthcare professional will be able to provide you with the most accurate guidance and address your specific situation.
