I keep running into this acronym ars. I understand that it is connected with aids but I can’t figure out what it really is. Is there anybody who could explain? Are there any symptoms of this sickness or whatever it is? Thank you!

Hello there! It would be better to say that ARS is connected with HIV virus. ARS is acronym for Acute Retroviral Syndrome, and it represents a syndrome of clinical symptoms associated with primary HIV infection. ARs develops between 2nd and 4th week after the infection. ARS was first described as mononucleosis-like illness. The most common symptoms are fever, fatigue, sore throat, lymphadenopathy, weight loss, myalgias, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and rash.
Not all people who have been infected with hiv develop ars.
