I am 3 weeks out from hysterectomy. sweating a lot at night. If you feel flushed, or a sudden rush of heat come over you, it has begun. Hang in there. You did the right thing. I,too, was afraid of ovarian and uteran cancer. Don't worry too much. Unless you have terrible mood swings or meltdowns, Id think you are in the clear of having to try replacement therapy. I'm NOT going to do that regardless! Bless you on your journey

I had my hysterectomy 2 years ago, I am 36 now. I started having hot flashed and night sweats after I stopped breastfeeding my youngest child at 32. After my hysterectomy they were not too bad then got worse. Over the winter I thought it had run it's course but as a few months ago they are back with a vengence and even standing in front of an air conditioner or car vent I cannot get any relief. Being it is so hot outside I am miserable all the time. I am following your post and it is nice to know that I am not crazy and the only one in this boat.

Almost one year out from my radical hyst. My hot flashes now are horrendous! I'm 61 no HRT because of diagnosis stage 1 endometrial cancer. When i went through menopause at 52 my hot flashes were tolerable. Now whole different story!!!! Also depression so much worse, seems i have more bad days than good. It is what it is. I take 150mg of zoloft not sure how much it's working. That's my story and I'm sticking by it ;) any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Love to all

I know what you mean with the hot flashes. I had a complete vag hyst in 1995. Haven't had hot flashes in probably 20-25 years, and about 2 months ago they started all over again. The last one was so severe that I started seeing little spots of light for about 10-15 seconds..... Any ideas or comments much appreciated

I had a hysterectomy (ovaries and all) 7 years ago. I took estrogen replacement for 6 and a half years. When will the hot flashes stop? I've had them all along.
