How can I stop my period once started without the use of prescription birth control medication?

what kind of gelatin should i use

I heard from a health teacher and researched it if you eat more healthy like fruits and vegetables and exercise just making sure your body is right you will only have a period for at least 2-3 days 

did it work???

The bleeding stops whenever you go in water anyway

when I have sex on the last day of my period, it actually comes back.. weird but true

Iburofin is an NSAID which helps stops your period. any drugs that say NSAID on the label will do the trick;-)

? I guess you could just use a tampon, or take a really hot shower... that seems to work for me, it will only hold your period off for a few hours though.

is there anything you can do to stop your period for a month or so with out taking birth control pills? i don't want to be bleeding anymore :'(

i am 27 years old and wanted a weekend with my bf

ok so few days ago i was hell bent on stoping my period so i came on this site n tried all the outrageous stuff plp mentioned this was on wednesday also the first day of my period.  my cosin drinks a massive bottle of coke (cola) everytime n it cuts her cycle to 2days. i dont no why it  works for her but it does, so i tried dat the whole wednesday, then i ate 2 whole lemons, followed by  some vomits (not pleasant) after brief recorvery still the same day i tried the drinking a lot of water thing. i threw up in the night again, bare in mind i barely ate cauz was paranoid that some foods might make me bleed heavy. nxt day brave new world, i tried ib profen 400g 2 tablets 3 times a day. i find it hard to eat during my cycle so i physicaly force fed myself so the ib wuldnt finish me off, i felt realy weak. around 11 in evening i hadenough n didnt bother with da last dosage. i just fell asleep crying. woke up friday n thers was just spoting, i actualy think am done today. my cycle goes up to seven days and its regular, i have the implant on my arm. but after this hell i had my period for 3 days only. i dont made it stop, i think it stopedcauz i was really stressed n barely ate n the constant vomit. am never doing that again. n ladies my bf was upset that i did that. its not worth it. be hones with him if its health doctors have ways n they are ready to help. long read but i hope its helpful:-)

i take advil every three 5 hours for five days straight every time i get my period because i have dysmenorrhea but it never stops my period. sorry :/ i don't think that will work

Lol. I cannot believe what I just read. Gelatin?? really! IBuprofen?? really! BC is the ONLY thing aside from things such as cold water (Swimming) which is convenient for water park, beach, pool days. Intercourse can either make it stop for a few hours or it could possibly bring it on early. 

Intestines have nothing to do with your period.. go back to health class .. that would mean we sh!t out babies from our @$$..
