I had unprotected sex with my fiance and am sure i ejaculated inside her. Her mc date was from 25-29 march n we had sex on 3 rd april. Within 6hrs she took an unwanted 72. how and when can i understand that she s safe n nt prgnt. plz rply according will have to choose alternative trtmnt

The "morning after" pill is best effective as soon as it is taken. Usually the sperm can survive upto 72 hours in the vagina, so, if this pill is taken within this time it works best. It is always better to take it immediately within hours of unprotected sex

There is no reason why the "morning after" pill won't work if it is taken within 6 hours of unprotected sex, however, if you are in doubt - please conduct a pregnancy test

so when is the proper time to have a pregnancy test where i can get a valid report. shall i wait for her next cycle which is on next month or shall do on next week. And once again thanks for your response. Atleast some postive reply from any specialist is vry hlpful in this time.

You can do a pregnancy test from the first day of her missed period. If she has regular periods, you'll probably know when this is. If you're not sure when her next period is due, you can do a pregnancy test 21 days (three weeks) after you last had unprotected sex.

is it necry to hv withdrawal bleeding after taking unwanted 72, if yes then by when shd ds occur? & one more thing we had sex on 3rd april and her last period was from 25th march to 29th march so is 3rd april is safe sex period? please clear these 2querries.
