Hi! I have problem with excessive daytime sleepiness. That bothers me a lot. This problem causes me trouble on my work and in my family. Sometimes I fall a sleep at impropriates places. I also have fragmented night sleep. I want to get rid of Daytime sleepiness. Can anyone have any suggestions?

Hi! You probably have narcolepsy. I am Narcoleptic. Narcolepsy is a relatively uncommon sleep disorder and is characterized by attacks of sleep. While there is not yet a cure, pharmacology has allowed us with this sleep disorder to live normal lives. This I do. First I changed behavior to encourage good night sleep. I also have short naps (10 to 15 minutes) two to three times per day. Finally I take anti-depressant. To get right medication you must see a doctor. You can control your Daytimesleepines.

I understand this condition, because I have had a period where I could instantly fall asleep during a day, and there is no need for bed at all, chair is very comfortable. Now the thing is that this didn’t last too long for me. But back then I read few things and there are some trick that you can do to stay awaken during a day. The fact that you don’t have good night sleep is not helping with your condition. Try to have better night sleep. Also it is good that you try to make a tempo to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up on the same time every morning. I hope this will help you.
