Hello! I got rubella from my six years old daughter and I am concerned because I have heard that virus which causes rubella can cause pericarditis, too. So, I am wondering if you can explain me how symptoms of pericarditis start. I am not filling any chest pain, but for any case I want to know this.

Hello! You should not be worried if you are filling well (except the fact you have rubella). But, for any case I will explain you now what symptoms of pericarditis are. If you have problems with breathing, breathlessness, dry coughs, weakness; if you have fever; then you should visit your doctor and do some medical exams, because this can be sign that you have pericarditis.
