Can any one tell me about how would endometriosis diagnosed,
I have strong pan on my both sides for about 3 days just after my period stops ,recently I had a visit with gynecologists so they will try to see if there is endo by using laparascopic but I am scared of it.

just came back today and had a scan and i have endometriosis.
the doctor put a stick inside my vagina (much easier than a smear test) and it had a camera at the end. let them to it that way first before they consider going through the belly-button.

i actually had a laparoscopy done in august to see if i had endometriosis because my mother has it, and i had all the symptoms. the procedure was outpatient and i was up and walking around the next day. they go through your belly button and made two smaller incisions, you can barely see the scars on my stomach. its the best way to see if you have endometriosis or not. it wasn't painful at all, and they actually just put band-aids over where they had cut into me. if you have a good doctor there is nothing to be scared about i promise.
