I have been experiencing heart problems for couple of years. The cardiologist recommended me to stop smoking and change my lifestyle. I ate all sort of junk food and smoked two packs a day with no exercise. I managed to cut on cigarettes but I also know that is not enough. I have started using Zyban so that I can leave cigarettes for good. How long do I have to take that medication?

Well, the minimum would be two months. And I think that you are stopping with cigarettes after the 11th day of the therapy. Still, you have to know that all this differs from case to case. Some people use Zyban for only a month while some take it for 6 months. Still, the good thing is that you are willing to help yourself so take Zyban as long as necessary.
