How long does it take to get pregnant after the depo shot?

I had 2 shots the last one being september 2011.  I was having periods whilst having the shots so was told tht if i had stayed on them I wud av 2 av them evry 9-10 weeks.  However we have been trying ever since n nothing is happening.  My periods are still irregular.  I will have a couple of normal regular ones n then might not have another one for a month n half to two months.  Has any1 else had this problem?  I thought my periods should have returned to normal by now.

Hi i took my first depo shot on april 9 and was suppose to return on the 26 of june for the second dose. I started bleeding the first month in and didnt return for that second shot.. Its now august 2 and im still bleeding well spotting really but i swear i have diaper rash from wearing pads so much. My guy and i want to have a baby but its hard because of the bleeding hoe ca. I make it stop and how do i get pregnant? Pls help

- i been off depo for 5 months and i havent seen my period n 2 months is it possible i may be pregnant ?

hi ive been on the depo shot abt 10yrs my last shot was due august when do you think my cycle will come back, ive been having alot of cramping and lower back pain also sore nipples......any ideas has me and my partner are wanting to try for another child

can you get pregnant straight away after being of the injection for 11 days after sex ?

Planning to not get my next shot which is due in March and am really hoping to be pregnant within the next year!

ive been on the depo shot for about 2 1/2 years my shot is due end of this month, m husband and i want a baby really bad. ive had a miscarrige a yr ago from the shot and im afraid if i get pregnant again my body wont except it if the depo is still in my system...what do i do?

I was on the shot for 4 years, and have been off of it for a year and 3 months. I have still had no signs of having my pefood. I feel like something I wrong with me.

I have been off the depo now since May 2008, I took the pill for another year up to my wedding date. I have had several blood test and even an ultrasound done. Everything looks fine. A friend recently told me to ask for a medicine called CLOMID. Two friends were prego within a month. I am going to try myself around April/May. 

umm ok so i was on the depo shot for 1 year n a half  and i have been off of it for about a year now and my current boyfriend and i are really tryna get pregnant we have been havin unprotected sex for 10 months now n im still nt pregnant what to do

I was on depo for nearly 10 years, its taken nearly 18 months to even get a perod, after multiplea tests, scans with nothing appearing wrong....Each person is different, i have heard many stories ranging from people i know getting pregnant after ot returning for their injection...stress doesnt help, try reflexology too....ive heard t works, i started a course recently (im a total sceptic) but i am sure its the only reasn myperiods returned!

I was on the Depo Shot for 9 months and was bleeding for the whole 9 months every single day so i got off of the shot and the 4 following months after getting off the shot i continued to bleed and i am still bleeding right now as I type. Blood disorders run in my family. Every one of my aunts and my mom had to get a hysterectomy by the time they reached ages 30-40. I'm really scared and I don't know what to do. I just hope I don't have to get surgery. So I have been bleeding everyday non- stop for 1 year and 4 months total.
