how long does it take to get pregnant after using depo?

iv been on the depo since i was nearlly 16 and im now 18. iv haqd the od breaks now & again and iv been off it since august 2012 and still no sign of bleeding. and worrying my chances of falling pregnant. iv been told it can take up to a year for your body to go back to normall again, but once this is happend could i fall pregnant after or from now? so confused! %-)

Im 25 years old I was on depo for 2 years and stopped taking it because I got married. I took my last shot on September 8th 2012 now it is February 2013 & I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms for at least 1 month (fatigue, dizziness, nausea, sore breast) I took 3 test & all negative... This is so disappointing and stressful. Could it just be my body adjusting without depo??

hi my name is heather i had my first child a baby girl after she was born i got the depo shot its been a month and 5 days since she passed away at a month old well anyways my depo shot is up in 3 days march 14 2013 well me and my husband want to get pregnant how long does it take for the shot to get out of your body and is thier anything i can do to get it out i been on my period since i got the shot on december 12 2012 that was when she was born plz help if you can i do want another baby soon.

Hi, I had the depo shot twice and I got pregnant after 5 months of going off it. I used an ovulation predictor kit on the 5th month and got pregnant that month. I was told it could take up to 18 months especially as I'm 39 and age could be a factor in getting pregnant. I couldn't beilieve how quick I got pregnant after getting the timing right with ovulation. Good luck.

I received two shots, I was suppose to receive a shot again in December but didnt because I stopped having sex. I still haven't gotten my period to this day. this is my second time back on depo for a short amount of time. Hope this helped.

i only had one shot of depro.. in nov 2012 it ended in feb 2013 i regretted taking it as soon as i read more about it, the doctor was very slack and handed me the leaflet to read just before he jabbed me :/. I def suggest ppl only use it if you dont mind waiting a long time to get pregnant and the side affects were HORRIBLE... headaches, mood swings... depressive states, tired all the time always felt sick. I never went back on the shot at my 3rd month, i got my period back a month after it ended and then another period now 30 days after that, looks like my hormones may be regulating early than i expected but still not sure if im ovulating. I think everyones bodies are different..i have not tried to get pregnant in the last 2 months of being off it but will try this month fingers crossed!

And i have terrible back pains,filling weird and moodie since then,Is this the side effects of depo or should i be worried that there is something wrong with me?

I have been off the depo since march 2012 and have been unprotected since, me and my husband been trying for a year and two months now still nothing I am starting to wonder if I will ever be able to get pregnant???

Hi, I was on the depo for a year when I was 16 in 2009. My last shot was in August of 2010. My husband and I are trying to start a family and we aren't having any luck at all. I have had a period since January of 2011. Could the depo still be in my system and stopping me from getting pregnant since I was so young starting it?

I had the shot one time in the middle of 2011. I have two boys age 3 and 4 . I recently got married now my.husband wants kids and we try but never get a out come of a positive pregnancy test. What should I do??? Please help!!!!

Hi I was on the depo for 16 yrs and came off it in may this yr and Im happy to say im 7 weeks pregnant. I read all the stories about it taking yrs so was quite shocked. Its different for every person.
