Hi. I have a corpus luteum deficiency and I guess I should use progesterone vaginal suppositories. I would like to hear from somebody with experience how safe are vaginal suppositories? How should I use this medicine?

Hi. You put vaginal suppositories into your vagina. Wash your hands and wet the tip of the suppository. Lie down and gently push it into the vagina. I guess vaginal suppositories are safe enough. Never use extra doses. Some side effects may occur, such as breast discharge, pain in arms, chest, or legs, headache, stomach pain, shortness of breath, tiredness, vision problems, yellow skin or eyes. Sweating, mood changes, anxiety, skin rash, vomiting… Also, vaginal suppositories can cause swelling or bleeding of gums.
