Hi, my very good friend is suffering from bulimia. She is 25 years old and she has fear that she will gain extra weight. She is suffering from it in last few months. In deed it may lasts longer but she admitted it few months ago. I would like to help her to get over bulimia but I am not sure how to do it.

Hi, one of the most important things is early recognizing of such disorders. Bulimia hasn't so much bad effects on someone's health so it may be approached less aggressive than anorexia. Your friend has to organize her meals that she has three meals per day and she has to use to it. Also she may use tranquilizers for short period of time to reduce stress. Very important is to get all possible support from her friends and family.
