I read somewhere about a woman who was treated with ritodine hydrochloride for acute coronary syndrome. She was pregnant at the time. Ten days after she complained about the chest pain. Electrocardiogram showed ST elevation and ST depression. She needed intensive care after she recovered without chest pain. I want to know does she react like this on drug because of the pregnancy. Other results of treatment indicate that most of patients experience improvement during and after treatment.

I know that safe use of ritodine hydrochloride hasn’t been established in pregnancy. I am not aware of any particular case. I think that you should consult with pharmacist about possible side effects of r. hydrochloride.
