is it possible to rupture the hymen before one attains puberty??... because of sports or cycling??... i am 18 years old.. a virgin... i got my first periods when i was 14... but almost 8 months before that,.. when i had gone for a sports practice and came back .. i noticed a spot of blood in my panties.. does it mean that my hymen broke then?... is it possible?...

YOU SHOULD BE SOOOO PROUD OF YOURSELF...WHAT A PRECIOUS GIFT YOU WILL GIVE YOUR HUSBAND !!! IM PROUD OF YOU !!!! Im not sure if it is possible to have a little hymen tear. I believe I have read about that happening, but it is not the same as having sexual intercourse... a big difference that can be noticed. I would think if it had a little tear or something, that is will probably only be that way temporarily. There are some docs on this site though that can answer a little better.
I believe when you first come on this website, the list of doctors is on the top left side, maybe shoot them an email or post to them. Dont worry, you will be fine.
