i feel a lump in my neck everytime I rub i on the left sidet. It feels like it is attached to the muscle?? Is that supposed to be there??

That is one of the lymph nodes that you are discovered. It’s always there, but usually become noticeable when your body is fighting against some infection and then it serves as a fluid collector and becomes bigger. Have you been sick lately? Even what looks like flu or cold can trigger this reaction, but it’s most common in cases of sore or strep throat. Is the lymph node noticeable when you’re not rubbing it, just by looking at mirror? But, if you don’t feel any symptoms like itching in your throat, cough or fever, and you notice any changes, you should go and check it out with your doctor.
