Is this even possible, that menopause is affecting me that much? I can't think straight anymore and it looks like I can't stop crying. What is the matter with me? I am 53 years old and I have always considered myself a normal person, but sometimes recently I act as if I am far from my standard behavior. Is there any help?

Of course there is. You just have to go to a doctor and talk to him about your problems. Some women do not have any menopause issues except for some small discomfort, but some, like you, really take it hard. I am certain that thinking issues are symptoms of depression (induced by menopause of course).
