i wonder if anyone can help me.
i don't often drink alcohol, but when i do,even if its two glasses of wine and spend the night with hot flushes were i sweat loads, and then i go freezing cold.
and if i have a big night out drinking more ,i spend the whole next day really ill, I'm not sick on the actual night, but when i wake up i spend the whole next day being sick, with the hot sweats, and i can't even keep water or food down!
i dont understand, this never use to happen to me.

Alcoholism is both a physical and mental abnormality. So even though you have not developed the emotional dependence and may not get drunk, you MAY have the physical allergy, which can develop immediately or over time. Like any allergy... if you were allergic to peanuts would continue to try one every once in a while?
I had both symptoms. I could drink anyone under the table but in the same vein, I could have a DRIP of liquor on my tongue and you'd know I had been drinking because I'd slur. I mean, I could literlly drink a bottle of Wild Turkey (meaning I had a VERY high tolerance) but a TINY DRIP on my tongue would have me slurring... it never made sense. I never understood it until I got sober and did a bunch of research.
