I am 13 and I don't think I have hit puberty, recently I have noticed that the skin attached to the head of my penis is starting to tear away, is this normal, if not what should I do?

Hi Bob,

Yes, the skin is supposed to separate from your glans.  It is NORMAL.

You are approaching puberty.  By about 16 your foreskin should fully separate and you should be able to slide it easily up and down.  Stretching can help.  You can use your fingers to spread the opening or get an erection and pull down on the shaft skin.

Good luck.
