hey King,

can you explain more about the skin... is it in the underside of your penis or on top also can you fully retract your forskin over your head ? how old are you/ did you start puberty and when?

thanks :-)

Hi bio,

Yes i can retract the foreskin full but theres a small part on the foreskin that is attaches to the head of the penis and when it gets erect it hurts, tell me if this helped also i started puberty i would say around 14 and im currently 16. Please help my main concern is that i may need surgery to snip off that strip of skin so the the full penis can come out.

hey king-

alright so when you get an erection the skin retracts all the way over the head but the skin strip on the underside of your penis (frenulum) feels tight and painful? does it cause the head of your penis to bend down a little without you physicaly pulling the forskine down?

thanks

hey king,

it sound like you have a tight frenulum. depending on how tight it is it may not cause any problems durring sux or masturbation. what i would reccomend is seeing your doctor, there are some steriodal creams that may help loosen the skin or if all else fails they can to a frumulotomy (sp) where they snip the skin under local anesthesia. don't worry about the doctor h/ she deal with issues like this all the time. while it may be embarrassing to you to them it is like taking a blood pressure or listening to someones heart.

i would not try to stretch it to much because the frenulum is much more fragile than the rest of your forskin and you will probably end up ripping it which will most likley be very painful.

please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns 8)

Hi Kingjames,
The best thing to do when you have this kind of problem is to see a doctor. If you wish to do something on your own you can end up with bigger problem, like fraction and it will hurt a lot. Biomajor has explained it well here. I'm wondering have you visited doctor already?

That piece of skin at the bottom of the glans is called the frenulum. It is normal and it is supposed to be there. The frenulum serves to limit the rearward travel of the foreskin. The frenulum has a high level of sensation.

If your foreskin bunches up behind the head when you retract you most likely have a short frenulum (frenulum breve). Test it by pulling back on the foreskin. If the head of your penis bends down when you pull back your foreskin, you have frenulum breve.

You can stretch the frenulum manually just like you do your foreskin. That is the best course of action if the frenulum is too short to permit your foreskin to retract. Search the Internet for:

“How to Fix Phimosis and Tight Foreskins, Solutions That Work”

and you will find the information you need.

There also is a minor operation to relieve the frenulum, called frenuloplasty and another called frenectomy. One of these might be necessary, if the stretching does not work. Urologists do this.

Don’t let anyone sell you a circumcision. Circumcision is NOT necessary to treat this condition and is very harmful.
