Im male 12 5'3 and 13o pounds. i dont want to get skinny but gain muscle. i have to do this this summer so i will be able to be happy around my friends at school. I know i haveto eat better and i know some things to help me but i need a consistant plan. Thisaugust i start conditioning for football so that will help but i need help now!
To gain muscle, you need to exercise. You also need to eat a well balanced diet. You need energy for the muscle growth. Muscle weighs more than body fat too.
Remember too, you're likely about to start puberty, if not already. Your body will produce a hormone, Testosterone, that will help you build muscle. You'll also grow like a weed.
5'3" and 130 pounds is in the middle of the growth charts.
Eat healthy stuff and exercise. It is the best way.
