I feel really guilty because I found out that was charging my client not enough for her color retouches and the last time that she came in I ment to tell her that and I forgot because we started to get busy. So charged her the right price and which was like 10-15 dollars more. Apparently she was getting a good deal. She was happy with her hair and didn't say anything about the extra charge.
I haven't even thought about it til now because its getting time for her to come back in and she hasn't made an appointment with me yet. She comes in around the 24th of every month. Its 3 days past now and I'm starting to feel bad.
I always over think things and I have bad anxiety; so next time I see her I want to say sorry and explain to her to extra charge and why I did it.
I could be over thinking this though and she probably just hasn't made her appointment yet.
Another part of me is scared that she might tell my manager and I'll get in trouble.
I'm new to all the this charging c**p and I'm finally learning and understanding why you charge what you charge. I haven't told anyone about it and I feel guilty about this, I wanted to get this off my chest. I figured I would do it here.
Her total for her hair cut, color, conditioner, and blow dry was 65.95.
I was charging her 50.95.
Her hair is above her shoulders.
She gets the same thing every time.
So what do you think I should do? Tell her sorry if she mentions the extra charge? Or should i just be straight up and tell her I forgot to mention it?
I wonder if she will even come back........

She probably knew she was getting a deal. Was she tipping you appropriately?
Until it's time for her to return, stop worrying. If she says anything to management, it'll only be her loss.
Next time when she comes in, speak to her right away.
Tell her you feel badly that you didn't explain, but wanted to make sure she understood and was not upset.
She may then choose to continue, or maybe not. Either way, you will have cleared the air and made it clear to her that you should have been and will now continue to charge the correct rate.
Hold your head up.

You're worrying needlessly.
She probably knew she was getting a deal. Was she tipping you appropriately?

Your right; I was over thinking it all! I talked to her and she said she didn't think anything of it at all. She didn't even notice the extra charge. I did explain myself and she was kewl with everything. I told her that she was getting a good deal. lol. She was happy with her hair as usual and will be back again. :D
