I had enemtrial ablation two weeks ago and my bleeding has increased instead of decreased. I have been to my doc two times last week and he says I may have an infection and put me on two antibiotics. The bleeding is not slowing down. Anyone have bleeding after their procedure?

I think those with post operation problems are likely sexualy active. I've not taken any risk; week one was small normal pad, second week a very light liner, sometime double light liner. Only about 3 drops of blood and the rest was weeping. I have also taken antibiotics which helped destroy the odor problem I had.

I expect to have a total clear recovery. I have read days of material online, and know people misunderstand doctor directions. Some had sex after one week recovery. My doctor said not to have sex or clean inside for three weeks. Directions, and reading say it takes 6 to 8 weeks for recovery.

Patience is virtue, also the only way to a healthy 8 weeks recovery.

I had the ablation done 3 weeks ago. I developed a horrible infection after the surgery and had to go back to the hospital dehydrated, in pain and running a 103 fever. I am STILL bleeding after 3 weeks with no sign of an end anywhere in sight, I have horrible cramps every day have developed bowel trouble (in that I have the runs daily.) And contrary to the woman who feels that the only people who have had troubles after the surgery are those who have had sex after... believe me, there has not been a point since my surgery that I have even thought about sex. Between vomiting constantly, liquid bowels, dehydration, constant stomach cramps and almost a month of missed work... this surgery = mistake.
