Hello, guest.

It sounds like you're experiencing some stress and uncertainty regarding a potential pregnancy. Let's address your situation step by step:

  1. Timing of Intercourse Relative to Ovulation: Sperm can survive inside the female reproductive tract for up to 5 days. Since you mentioned that intercourse occurred 5 days before ovulation, there is a possibility of sperm being present during the time of ovulation.

  2. Condom Breakage: This increases the risk of pregnancy, as it allows for the possibility of sperm entering the reproductive tract.

  3. Use of Plan B: Taking emergency contraception like Plan B soon after unprotected intercourse significantly reduces the risk of pregnancy. Plan B is most effective when taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex.

  4. Post-Plan B Symptoms: It's not uncommon to experience some side effects after taking Plan B. These can include changes in menstrual bleeding, such as spotting or an early period. The brown discharge you're noticing could be a side effect of Plan B and might represent spotting or a change in your menstrual cycle. Plan B can cause temporary changes in your menstrual cycle, including timing and flow.

  5. Next Steps: If your next period is late by more than a week, or if you have concerns about pregnancy or side effects from Plan B, consider taking a pregnancy test.Hope this helps.
