Hey Siva.

most lower back yoga exercises are excellent for issues like that. Have you tried them already? have you talked to your doctor about what exercises he recommends? You should definitely avoid classical abdominal wokrouts since they put too much pressure on lower back. but you should work to strenghten your back muscles. of course - with professinal help.

Hi Siva! Good that you are looking for some advice. actually in the treatment of  degenerative disc disease is physical therapy and exercise very important. Even in the periods you have pain you shouldn't be without doing some exercise. As you might know keeping a good blood flow to the spinal structures is really important here, so low impact exercise like biking, swimming or walking are good. You may also talk to your doctor or physiotherapist about which are the specific exercise for hamstring stretching and back strengthening .You can get some ideas in you tube steady health videos for your back but don’t forget to discuss them with your doctor.
