Hey dash, sorry to hear about your friends teasing you, most people don't understand  that because of their metabolism and body type for some people gaining weight is equally difficult as for some losing weight. Best advice I can give you is eating higher calorie count, which you can check on internet based on your BMI, and reduced physical activities. Direct advice is avocado great source of healthy fat, and meat and other food rich in proteins. this should increase your weight on healthy way, also I would advice you to seek help from registered dietitian.
