Some time ago, my doctor diagnosed me w/IBS. I have been planning to go to another doctor for a bit, as I don't think this one really takes the time to listen like they should. Here is the scoop:
I am 33 male and in pretty good health... Since diagnosed, I have changed my diet and dropped 40 pounds and exercise 4 days a week. Hasn't helped.
Usually on warmer/hot days, I experience diarrhea w/several other symptoms. Not sure how to describe all of this in a way that makes sense, so I'll describe my day yesterday.
I had lunch at a outdoor plaza. Just after, as I was out walking around and it was noticeably warm. Possibly important, I seemed to be dealing with pretty heavy nasal/sinus congestion and drainage. About 10-15 minutes later, felt the need for BM. The stool wasn't loose, but it was significant.
Jumped in the car to leave and it was very warm, as it had been sitting in the sun. Seemed as though the heat triggered an uneasiness in my stomach. Got a couple miles down the road and had to stop at a restaurant to use the bathroom. Had quite a sneezing fit on the way. This time, the stool was loose.
Back in the car, probably another 10 or 15 minutes, and had to stop at a Borders to use their bathroom. This time, the stool was completely liquid.
All of this brought with it, a feeling of fatigue/exhaustion, an urgent need to urinate, and dry mouth/lips...
This is pretty typical of what I experience somewhat frequently. I want to stress that it seems to happen in the heat. The hotter, the worse it seems. Does this compare to others experiences with IBS, or does it sound like something else. It is really driving me crazy... Please help if you can.

I have had a lot of days like that before. I just got frustrated with our medical system and their use of medicine as a band-aid to cure all. I ended up having food alergy testing done. It was a bad news and good news result. Bad news was food alergies to a lot of my favorite foods (Milk products and yeast were main culprits). Good news was I knew what to stay away from. Since then, I have had very few bad days over the last 3 years! Try getting a complete test done and find out for yourself.
