hi everyone recently i purchased a gym membership and i was goin everyday for about 3 weeks and i was lifting 15-20lbs dumbbells and 30lbs barbells and i suddenly stopped going for about 1 week and i started getting these pains on my lower back and some of my spine and neck. Is it because im growing or was i lifting too much weight. And my mom says if i keep straining myself i will stunt my growth. Im 14. I weight 120lbs and i am 5'7

That is a myth. There is no proven medical explanation that weight lifting will stun your growth. My personal opinion is: "If you do all exercises on a right way there is nothing to be worry about". cya
