Hi. Im 12 years old and i go to the gym every two days. I just do bicep curls and assisted pull ups. I was just wondering if that will stunt my growth. Im 5'1. I do 35-40 reps. Please reply so i know. Thank you.

Hi Alex,

No.  What you're doing won't stunt your growth as long as you use proper technique.  Since you are at a gym and assisted, you should be in good shape.

Yes any type of rapid muscle growth MAY stunt your growth. Its best to just wait till your maybe 15. If you need to know why just ask and i will be willing to break it down for you

Excersing doesn't help you grow you just have to wait everything takes time :)

Hey, I don't think you have to worry about being short for life because you started working out! Eastern Europeans start Olympic lifting as young as 7! Keep kicking the pull ups and some good free weight work! Good to see young guys hitting the iron game!
